Empowering the 2026最新168体彩澳洲幸运5官方体彩开奖结果 Next Generation of Jewish Leaders
Founded in 2008 to address a gap in Jewish educational leadership for ambitious university students, the Forum for Jewish Leadership (FJL) was established to cultivate the next generation of Jewish leaders by offering transformative experiences rooted in authentic Jewish values, wisdom, and role models.
Guided by the vision of the late Rabbi Lord Jonathan Sacks, FJL launched its flagship internship programme—first in Washington, D.C. and later expanding to New York, London, and Tel Aviv—combining professional development with immersive Jewish and Israel-focused engagement.

What participants say
“Going forward, I am a changed man. I am a more informed, proud, passionate Jewish person. I am proud of our history, and what Jewish people have done and continue to do for this world. I am excited to begin a more rich Jewish journey. I am forever thankful to FJL, all of the staff, and all of my new brothers and sisters for changing my life and cannot stress enough how amazing the FJL programme is.”
“I feel FJL helped me improve all aspects of my life – it helped me develop socially, improve my CV and learn more about Judaism. I made loads of new friends and I couldn’t recommend it more.”
“When I received my acceptance letter I was overjoyed and knew dreams were about to become reality but at the time I didn’t know my already high expectations were going to be exceeded to the extent they were.”
Looking back, I’ve grown so much as a person and as a Jew. If anybody else could witness and experience FJL, I would tell them to go in a heartbeat. The staff had sacrificed so much of their time to provide the greatest adventure a young, growing Jew could experience. Thank you.

Parshat Yitro reminds us that wisdom doesn’t always come from the inside.
Yitro arrives as an outsider, watches what’s happening, and chooses to learn. He doesn’t ignore what he sees – He responds 🏃♂️
When history unfolds around us, we all have a choice: to look away, to judge from a distance, or to lean in, learn, and let it change us 🌟
Yitro teaches that growth begins when we’re willing to be impacted by what we witness, be humble enough to listen, and be brave enough to react.

First to go, last to leave. Ran Gvili HYD. 🕯️🇮🇱 After 843 days, Ran is finally home. A long, collective exhale after years of waiting, praying, advocating, and holding our breath — for Ran, and for all our brothers and sisters taken into darkness.
Ran was at home on Oct. 7, recovering from an injury, yet he went out to fight. He heroically defended the entrance to Kibbutz Alumim — a place he had no connection to — and thanks to him and a few other brave heroes, not a single member of the kibbutz was harmed.
🗣️ Last night Rabbi Effie Shared: There are no coincidences as this week’s Torah portion is Beshalach, when the Jewish people leave Egypt after the plagues and cross the split sea. 🌊 One final act of Moshe was to take the bones of Joseph with him, “for he had bound the sons of Israel by an oath, saying, ‘God will surely remember you, and you must take up my bones from here with you’” (Shemot 13:19). 📜 The message here of course is the Jewish people do not leave their brothers behind. When the Jewish people crossed the split sea, one opinion in the Talmud notes that the “Song of the Sea/Az Yashir” was not sung until every member of the people had safely crossed to the other side! ✨
There is something even more remarkable than just this incredible value of not leaving anyone behind, which we have all been witness to over the past 2+ years culminating with today’s return of Ran’s body. 🤝 This is due to the fact that Moshe was not a relative of Yosef, he had no family obligation to bury him and did so altruistically. In a similar fashion, Ran had no familial connection to the people of Kibbutz Alumim, yet on that morning he went out to save them. For Moshe and for Ran, every fellow Jew was a brother! ❤️🩹✡️
Ran stood at the gate for brothers he didn’t know, and today, a nation of brothers stands in silence and salute to finally welcome him home 🫡
Yehi zichro baruch. May Ran’s memory be a blessing and his legacy remind us of unity, responsibility, and brotherhood🕊️✡️

Parshat Va’eira reminds us that even when the suffering feels endless and redemption seems distant, Hashem says: I hear you. I see you. I have not forgotten you.
Am Yisrael has stood in moments of pain, uncertainty, and fear before – and every time, we rose again. Not because the journey was easy, but because our spirit is unbreakable.
From slavery to freedom, from silence to strength – Am Yisrael Chai. Always has. Always will. Shabbat Shalom ✡️🇮🇱

Ten years of FJL alumni, One powerful journey 🌟 Spanning a decade of leadership, our FJL family came together in Poland for a once in a lifetime trip – walking through historic sites, bearing witness, and paying tribute to the six million Jews murdered in the Holocaust.
Led with care and depth by Elisheva and Rabbi Jonny Newman, and guided by the knowledge of Rav Avi Poupko, we mourned, we learned, and we remembered. And alongside the pain, we danced, sang, raised one another’s spirits, and affirmed Jewish life, resilience, and continuity ✡️
A journey of memory, meaning, and responsibility – connecting past, present, and the future of Jewish leadership 💙
